EQUIPMENT SPECIFICATION

Global Finishing Solutions Powder Coat Oven Line

Two-Zone System: Infrared (IR) Pre-Heat Oven + Gas-Fired Convection Cure Oven

Manufacturer: Global Finishing Solutions (GFS), L.L.C. — Osseo, WI / Dallas, TX

Drawings Referenced: U11343-A (Sheet 1 of 7) — Convection Cure Oven, Struct./Panel/Duct U11343B-01 (Sheet 1 of 2) — IR Oven

This specification summarizes the equipment configuration, construction, dimensions, and utility requirements for a two-zone Global Finishing Solutions (GFS) powder-coat finishing oven line, compiled from GFS general-arrangement drawings U11343-A (convection cure oven) and U11343B-01 (infrared pre-heat oven). Line also includes an approximately 900 ft. overhead conveyor trolley chain (rebuilt) rated 800 lb. per trolley, X458 chain, connecting the two oven zones. Figures below are taken directly from the manufacturer's drawings; field verification is recommended prior to resale, relocation, or reinstallation.

2.6  Safety — NFPA Explosion Relief

Explosion relief required at 15:1 ratio: 6,667.9 cu.ft. volume / 444.5 sq.ft. relief area required.

RELIEF AREA PROVIDED

(2) Man Access Doors: 30.7 sq. ft.

(2) Part Openings: 66.6 sq. ft.

(1 lot) Ceiling Panels: 460.6 sq. ft.

(1) Heater Box Access Door: 4.8 sq. ft.

Total Relief Available: 562.7 sq. ft.

Do not place, block, or install objects on, in front of, or next to any explosion relief panels, ceiling panels, man doors, or product doors. The oven roof is designed to provide the necessary explosion relief area; the exhaust fan must be located so that no more than two roof panels are prevented from lifting in the event of a deflagration within the oven. Ceiling panels and explosion-relief side walls require a minimum of 3'-0" clearance, and doors must be able to swing fully open.

2.7  Other Operating Notes

Adjustable ductwork slides should be half-open at start-up.

Minimum 6" clearance from part to ductwork recommended for optimum cure performance and to prevent powder blow-off.

Oven is not designed to support any additional loads.

Exhaust fan location is approximate; final placement by customer/installer.

Maximum gas train (safety shutoff valve) to burner pipe run: 15 ft.

Pre-ignition purge interval: 5.3 minutes.

Exhaust blower rated for 18.7 gallons of solvent per hour at maximum operating temperature of 500°F.

3.  Conveyor

Overhead trolley conveyor, approx. 900 ft. of chain.

Chain: X458, rated 800 lb. per trolley.

Chain reported rebuilt approx. 2-1/2 years prior to the equipment being offered for sale.

Price: $100,000
